Thai Style Wedding Ceremony

On-site Legal Marriage Registering Service:
Please note that the wedding ceremony is symbolic in nature and therefore is not legally recognized, however, if requests we will provide you with the assistance require obtaining Thai official legal certificates.
For the Thai marriage legal formalities, bride and groom are needed to contact their Embassy in Bangkok to identify both of their country citizenship status, and then the embassy will issue the certificate letter (statutory declaration) regarding their legal status for them to carry to Phuket to for the marriage legal registering purpose at the hotel. This we call the on-site legal marriage registering service.
On-site service at the hotel required;

1. Two copies of both bride & groom passport provided
2. The original certificated letter (statutory declaration) from their Embassy in Bangkok (may be from your country if it is available)
3. Two copies of certificated letter (statutory declaration) being translated in Thai by official authorized Thai translator (may be advised by Embassy) and get a rubber stamp affixing from The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affair (may be advised by Embassy)
4. Bring those documents to the hotel, we will organize for legal process completely.
5. The registering process will be done by the next morning of the marriage after wedding. (Same day attending the ceremony may be available.)
6. The local district office will send the Senior Office to meet the Bride and the Groom at the hotel for the registering process.
7. The two official legal certificates will be issued for a couple in accordance with Thai family Law Act.
8. The process is completed.

Remark;

However, the process of legal marriage registering may be completed all in Bangkok by some agent (Low Office) as well, but we have no idea with the service cost.

If such service is required, please let us know so that we are able to reserve the Local Office in advance and the fee can be settled upon arrival at the hotel.

The above process is required for legalization if you have never done the legal formalities before in your own country, otherwise, you have to go back to do the same process again in Bangkok or may be in your country.

If you have already legalized your wedding in your country, it is not necessary to do it again; the wedding ceremony can be proceeding. However, the hotel will issue a symbolic wedding certificate for the couple.
